The Tragedy of the Silmarillion (Noldolante)

Someone's impression of what Maglor's Noldolantë might have been about (using artwork instead of lyrics).

The Davy theme is my favorite between all Pirates of the Caribbean and it fits this very well!

Wow, stunning sketches! Your ability to design and shade is incredible, as is your attention to fine detail. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for the compliments, they are much appreciated. Glad you like my drawings.

Here's a drawing of Fingon and Maedhros, not long before Maedhros' rescue:

Taken from a chapter of J.R.R.Tolkien's Silmarillion, this scene encapsulates the theme of overwhelming sorrow and defeat being quietly overturned by an unforseen hope which permeates much of his writings. A hope which is decisive in its outcome, but which never ensures that all will end...

That is beautiful.

In a dark and creepy way, but still, beautiful.

Cool artwork of Mahtan! I like how it still looks Elvish despite him having a beard. Most of the artwork I've seen of him looks more Dwarvish or Mannish.

This artist is illustrating every chapter of the Silm.

This seems to fit best here:

[Starbrow]

I like who was chosen to play the characters - especially Robin Williams for Tom Bombadil.
