I’m looking closely, and I see a lot of details, but what particular detail are you hinting at?

Look at all the brothers.

Look at all the brothers.

I am. Maedhros and Maglor enjoy the rain, Tyelko, Moryo, and the twins are eating it, and Curvo’s like “WHY?” I also find it strange Curvo and the twins are wearing blue instead of red.

I was just trying to point out how the focus is on Maedhros and Maglor looking serious in the foreground, and it's funny how the other brothers are eating the rain in the background.

Nothing new from myself as of late, just some Wizards of the Coast art to share in the meantime. (March from the Black Gate, Mouth of Sauron and Barad-Dur)

[Laurë]

What Noldorian theater would look like, done by Silmaspens / Morgan Rogers (Source).

I see her artwork Tolkien artwork often, but only came across these ones today and found it very interesting!

According to some of her notes on this piece: This is Tyelpe taking a young Celebrian to see his favorite play about Yavanna and Aulë.

She also adds that the costumes intentionally cover the actors ears and hair so that they seem more like the Valar and less like elves to the audience.

this final one is a flashback to Valinor of Maglor getting ready to play Aulë
