Dwarves enter Beleriand and meet the Sindar.
YT 1300 - 1350
Menegroth built.
YT 1330
Evil creatures entered Beleriand. Arming of the Sindar by Naugrim, and by the teachings of the Naugrim. Creatures driven off.
YT 1350
Denethor leads his Green-elves into Beleriand.
YT 1495
Morgoth returns to Middle-earth. His cry in battle with Ungoliant heard throughout Beleriand. Ungoliant comes to Doriath but Melian shuts her out. Ungoliant then dwells between Doriath and Dorthonion. The area becomes Ered Gorgoroth 'Mountains of Terror'. Morgoth returns to Angband.
YT 1497
Morgoth attacks Beleriand. Orcs come down on both sides of Thingol, and being cut off from Cirdan he got the aid of Denethor. Eventually victory is won over the eastern host with the aid of the Green-elves and Naugrim, but Lord Denethor fell and the Green-elves took no more kings after this. Thingol withdrew his people into the borders of Doriath and Melian put up her Girdle. In this year Feanor reaches Middle-earth, and there is Dagor-nuin-Giliath 'Battle Under the Stars'. Feanor's death. Maedhros taken by Morgoth.

Maedhros hanged from a precipice on Thangorodrim. No one couuld find him so the Noldor withdrew back to Hithlum.
YT 1500
Host of Fingolfin reaches Middle-earth.
YS 1
The first Moon rises in the west at the blowing of Fingolfin's trumpets as they began the march into Middle-earth.

Fingolfin sets up camp at lake Mithrim. The Feanorians are camped on the other shore, ashamed.

To heal the fued between the hosts of Fingolfin and of Feanor, Fingon set out and rescued Maedhros from Thangorodrim.

House of Finarfin visits Thingol. Noldor given permission to dwell in certain areas.

Mereth Aderthad 'Feast of Reuiniting', many attend from far and wide, including some Green-elves from Ossiriand.

Ulmo sends dreams to Finrod and Turgon as they sleep. Both wake with ideas for places of refuge.

Finrod begins delving the caves of Nargothrond with the aid of the Dwarves.

Ulmo appears to Turgon, and shows him Tumladen in the encircling mountains.

The Third Battle, Dagor Aglareb, the 'Glorious Battle'. Earthquakes started in the north and fire spewed from Thangorodrim. Orcs came down but they were driven out onto Ardgalan and slaughtered to the last orc in sight of Angband. Though great victory it was a warning to the Noldor and they strengthened their watch and established the Siege of Angband.

Turgon shows the masons and other skilled people to Tumladen where they begin the building of Gondolin in the likeness of Tirion on Tuna.
