Discussion ~ Annals of the Kings of the North ~

It's good reading this discussion on your fine creation of the lineage of kings, especially of Rhudaur and Cardolan. I've referred to it a few times over the years for names and dates when writing collaborative RP fanfic stories with Alqualisse. One of our recent tales is the detailed lives of Valacar of Gondor and and Vidumavi of Rhovanion. We had a story arc involving Prince Argeleb of Arthedain and the sons of King Dirion .

We expanded it a little and gave the sons of Dirion names, and made them contemporaries of Argeleb I. Their timeline was a part of the story circa 1271 III, We also added a daughter to the family tree and had some fun writing that, and have the warring Cardolanion nobles a part of the story as well.

Anyway, thanks again for your creativity, and for allowing us to tap into it now and again!
I think we should always feel as free to use each other’s stuff as we feel to use JRRT’s.

Your mention of Valacar reminds me of one GONDOR story I want to write. Two young men who are friends, lesser nobles or gentility. Fall on opposite sides in the Kin-strife. In the same vein as Ben Hur.
