Anyone think Glorfindel was in the movie

[Confusticated]

Just wondering if anyone thought "Hey... it's Glorfindel!", when they saw that blonde elf on a white horse during the scene where Arwen ditches the company of elves.

[Minas]

I don't remember thinking it then but there was a time when Elrond had an Elf standing behind him and I thought then it may be Glorfindel.

are you talking about when aragorn gets crowned and reunites with arwen? because there's a blonde standing next to elrond there.

i dont think PJ purposely meant it to be glorfindel, i mean if he isnt goning to put him in FOTR then why should he put him in ROTK?

[33Peregrin]

Maybe it was Glorfindel! That's a very good thought. If PJ never says anything much about him, then I will think that of him! I even took special notice of the elf behind Elrond when I was watching ROTK.

HAHA!!! I did!!!

That's my Thol

If he intended for some extra to be Glorfindel he may well have named Glorfindel in the credits. I don't know if he did that or not.

PS: Hope no one thought any of those elves were Gildor.

[Maeglin]

STOP GETTING MY HOPES UP ALL OF YOU!!! I want to think that now!! But at the same time I don't, because it makes me very angry to think that PJ put Glorfindel in as nothing but an extra, and thought that he was good for nothing more, not even to put him in FotR! No no no no no no no no all of you must stop it now! I am now torn in two on this subject!

[Gildor]

I didn't see anyone who really stood out as a possible Glorfindel. There were a few blond Elves in various scenes, but not any that seemed prominent enough.

The ones that stood beside Elrond as he delivered Arwen are either his sons or Glorfindel.

well considering his sons (Elladan and Elrohir) have dark hair and Glorfindel has blonde hair ...
