For me i can think of a fun old PC classic called "Hexplore"
You have no idea how long it took me to find it. But i found it on GOG.com website. Fun old PC game. It gives me that dark vibes of soldier and wizards kind of feel to it.

Love the question Herlig9!

The video game you mentioned "Hexlore" looks cool, there's something about these older version video games that manage to capture my attention and play for hours.

For me, the games that remind me of LOTR are Kingdom of Amalur & World of Warcraft. It is the combination of fantasy and monsters that brings me back to LOTR. Especially WoW, as you have Elves, Drawfs, Humans and classes such as Mages, Healers, Hunters etc. They have in common the same fantasy as well as the starting points of each class that resembles parts of LOTR. For example, Ironforge (Dwarf capital) reminds me of Moria.

Suggestion, if you love games like these, try out LOTR Online, very similar to WoW, but all LOTR focused!

Cheers!
