From what I've heard Tolkien was not very organized and his handwriting was not the greatest, so what I was wondering was does anyone have news if Christopher Tolkien is working on anything else from his father's writings?

Also, Christopher is getting up there in age, what happens when he passes away, does he have any children/relatives that are working with him or separate from him on his father's writings?

I know that Tolkien only wrote so much and you're not going to find more writings on every little thing but are there other things (Middle Earth related or not) that he wrote that has yet to be published?

Well, in his last book, from his fathers scribbles, The Legend Of Sigurd & Gudrún, he writes, that he has been helped by his son, in typing the pages into a computer. So he has, at least, one son.

And, as you write, he is getting pretty old. He turned 86 last year.

I don't think we are going to see another book from his hands.

And I don't think, there's any more J.R.R.Tolkien scribbles left scrutinizing, that hasn't already been scrutinized.

Christopher Tolkien has two sons: Simon from his first marriage, and Adam. Adam Tolkien seems more involved than Simon with respect to things Middle-earth related that have been published by Christopher Tolkien (Simon has published his own work).

I'm not aware of anything major in the arena of Middle-earth that might be published (though CJRT hasn't published 'everything' in this area of course, like for example the updated prose start to Beren and Luthien, long version)...

... but there are certainly non-Middle-earth related things that could be published. For myself I hope The Fall of Arthur and Sellic Spell are two of them, for example.

Incidentally, and not that don't know already, or care necessarily, but 'Amin mela lle' is not Quenya or Sindarin (nor any Elvish language invented by Tolkien). It's part of the made up stuff used by certain roleplayers -- a group called Grey Company, who lifted some vocabulary from Tolkien's books.

Christopher Tolkien is already 92 years old and at such an age he would surely not be able to create anything like his father had done. He has a son Simon who is a writer though he has nothing written publicly anything regarding his grandfather's writings.
As far as publishing goes, Christopher himself can publish any remaining texts of his father right now which are still left. Publishing is not such a great issue.
