This fic and its accompanying illustration are my submission to Tolkien OC Week 2025, a fandom event taking place primarily on Tumblr. I was really excited to find an excuse to explore Aranya's home life with her parents, because we don't get much of a chance to do that in my main fic (Ill Chances and Strange Fates). If you're in need of some escapism from modern life, I hope you'll find some solace in the idyllic cottagecore setting of this story. There's also a whole lot of Noldorin crafts going on. Please let me know what you think and I hope you enjoy it!

This was so sweet!

I loved getting to meet Aranya's parents. It’s funny I didn't really think about their lack of involvement in the tale, but all of a sudden they have names and personalities and lifestyles! I'm curious, did you at all take "model" inspiration from your parents?

I thought it was hilarious an Elf would be named Moldo. The poor lad is not well-represented with a name like that, naturally! First Tecno, now Moldo. What is with these 5-letter unflattering Elvish names befitting unwanted néri? Moldo thankfully doesn't seem as terrible as our featherless owl, but I wouldn't be surprised if he were, ah, featherbrained. * Coughs*

And in this location, I definitely experienced the natural environment most acutely, and I could very much see the Little Cottage in Valinor being the perfect place for Aranya's childhood home. I felt like I was peering around a tree in the neighboring woods, observing all the goings-on of the sweet Homely House. I would be delighted if I were vacationing at a little location like this, surrounded by perfection. Ahhhhh. What a calm, tranquil lifestyle. It almost feels like taking a deep breath, and the larger narrative of IC&SF is suspended in that respiration. The exhale of course being when Aranya takes her leave.

Oh, and I am pleased to say I was at least mostly correct with my guess for where the story was headed. Drawing Maitimo? Check! Was he there? No, but she was spying on him internally! Was it a tablet? No, but it was the concept nonetheless, and of course not in a modern setting-- but hey, cottagecore vibes of Aman for the win!

Oh, and just so you're aware, I am the cat. You can be sure I'll never tell...🐱

...That being said, all in all, this was a perfectly delightful miniature snapshot of Aranya in her home life. Thank you for sharing it with us! 😊

I love this glimpse into Aranya's side of home. I could really relate to a lot of her, too, as she dodged topics of conversation, allowed certain subjects to slip by and managed to keep her secrets to herself. Sometimes keeping the peace involves keeping silence, because telling the secret is not worth the trouble it'll bring.

It was a lovely piece, very pretty, and full of flowers. The landscape came across in many sensual ways, from shades of color to touches of wind. I especially enjoyed the mysterious cat, and have a feeling it will be showing up again at some point.

As for Aranya's parents, I liked how both were portrayed as genuinely loving, just also ignorant of Aranya's true desires(because she keeps secrets). At least both of them truly want what is best for her.

I hope Aranya gets to see Maitimo again soon. :]

In some ways yes, but in other ways no. Like, Almanis is nothing like my mom. My mom is a lot warmer, more extroverted, and more in tune with my feelings. And I think Antamo is more extroverted than my dad, but I definitely gave him my dad's woodworking skills and affinity for dad jokes! The way he built the house and put a lot of his own creative ideas into it is very much like what my dad did with our house.

I thought it was hilarious an Elf would be named Moldo. The poor lad is not well-represented with a name like that, naturally! First Tecno, now Moldo. Lollll I didn't even think of that pattern, nor was I intentionally trying to make Moldo a bad name. (I was focusing on Quenya meanings and not so much... English equivalents...) And in all fairness, Moldo is a much better guy than Tecno. He's just a decent guy that Aranya happens to not be attracted to.

Oh good! Sensory descriptions are my weak point, as you guys are probably aware, and I wanted to improve it here, so I'm glad you found it immersive.

I was pleased when you guessed it more or less correctly, hehe!

Noted! 😏

Thank you, and same! Not every topic of conversation is appropriate to bring up with every person in your life!

As for Aranya's parents, I liked how both were portrayed as genuinely loving, just also ignorant of Aranya's true desires(because she keeps secrets). At least both of them truly want what is best for her.
Yeah, I didn't want to make either of them look like bad guys. Fun fact: some of my earlier plans for Aranya's family involved them trying to ship her with Tecno. But I felt they should have better judgment than that. Point still stands, though, that they are trying to ship her with someone, anyway. And that someone is a good and decent guy, but just not all that interesting to Aranya.

Thank you both for your comments and I'm glad you enjoyed the story!

This was really sweet! I liked getting to see more of this aspect of Aranya's life. It's interesting how she both feels stifled by her parents and is comforted by the visit. The descriptions of the scenery, the food, and the general atmosphere of her home were absolutely beautiful. Her parents do seem to care for her and are looking out for her best interests; they're just not quite sure what those are.

"Greetings, Disgusting. I'm Atar."
🤣🤣 I will never get bored of this type of joke.

During Aranya’s last visit home, she had discovered the plant just beginning to wrap its vinelike roots around the tree trunk, and she had carefully watered it and protected it until it started to bloom. She had told her mother about it, but not expected her to add such a fussy plant to her already-enormous list of plants to care for.

“Well, I know you already have so much to do and think about around here,” she said, smiling. “Thank you, Ammë.”

“It reminds me of you.” Mother’s voice was characteristically cool and composed, but a faint smile and sparkle in her gray eyes betrayed some warmth in her countenance. “And so I easily remember to check on it often.”
This is just so heartwarming. Almanis caring for the plant because she knows Aranya would if she was there...

The healers had only worked till noon that day, but Aranya had chosen to spend the afternoon goofing around in the garden with Írissë rather than start her journey back home,
Írissë is Aredhel, correct? It's interesting that Aranya seems to be close to her.

Before she had moved away, she used to love these village dances. But ever since Maitimo had taught her ballroom dances, secretly in the woods, she found the unrefined dancing of village peasants to be utterly dull. Perhaps this was an unkind thought to have, but it wasn’t Aranya’s fault she had experienced near perfection in a dance partner!
It stands to reason that dancing with one of the Princes of the Noldor would raise one's standards a good bit. But only NEAR perfection?! Come on!

Aranya nodded silently and returned to her room. It was all she could do to hold back the words on the tip of her tongue: It’s fair that you use my room for your own purposes while I’m gone. But why do you have to rifle through the contents of my boxes and make judgments on my behalf?
This I can relate to, although in a slightly different manner. I cannot count the amount of times I've come home from school or been working on something in my room, and my parents have insisted on barging in and opening the curtains, insisting "You need to let some light in here." No, I don't. I have the light set to the levels I desire, and if any other form of light was necessary, I'd be using it.

The cat gave a chirplike meow as though in response, and then started to rub her face on the edges of the drawing. Out of instinct, Aranya nearly pulled the drawing away. But then she realized, if she couldn’t show the sketch to anyone else, Maitimo might as well get some love from this cat.

Besides, the cat didn’t damage the drawing by smudging any of the charcoal. As though she understood and respected the art, she only rubbed on the edges. Then, seemingly satisfied, she turned and trotted off into the forest, and promptly disappeared.
I like the cat. It's quite cute. It does indeed seem more aware than the average feline.

Tecno was always going on about the “excellent roasted tomatoes” frequently served in the House of Nolofinwë. Next time he bothered her, she suddenly imagined herself shoving one of these ripe garden tomatoes in his face. She could just picture the red juice and slimy seeds sliding down his face, and his already-round eyes wider than an owl’s.
And now I need to see this happen. 'Twould be ripely deserved. 😏

I quite enjoyed this look at Aranya's life outside of the main narrative of IC&SF. I think it fleshes her out more, and shows she is a character who can stand 'on her own two feet' as it were, without the presence of the Silmarillion characters we know so well. (Since that is normally how I'm used to reading about people's OCs in fanfiction - they are additions to a story which is mainly focused on the book's characters, and as such the story focuses on the OC's interactions with those characters and not much else.)

I liked reading about the various other people, things and places in Aranya's life. It has a similar vibe to IC&SF, but it's also kind of like stepping into a new world, since it doesn't revolve around the Finwians and their great houses/palaces. And yes. It is very cottagecore. I was very much reminded of your Minecraft builds when reading the descriptions of the cottage and the gardens. Peaceful and pleasant, with a unique feel of its own.

Aranya Estiel walked alone down the hot, dusty road leading from Tirion to its outlying villages. Her feet and back ached, her joints felt sore and stiff, and her heart didn’t know what to feel. The journey home took at least half a day on foot. And when she arrived, she wasn’t sure if she would be comforted by reuniting with her parents and childhood home, or if she would once again feel stifled and controlled. She had worked so hard to find some sense of freedom from the well-meaning parents who had chosen her occupation and tried to choose her husband. Would this holiday visit, short as it was, take away some of that hard-earned freedom?

And somehow the whole morning had slipped away from her. She had awoken in a panic that morning as she remembered the preparations she had forgotten about the night before. They were just a few small chores, but somehow they ate away her entire morning as she scrambled to get them done. So she had made most of the journey during the heat of the day. Her clothes clung to her body, her dark hair was damp and frizzy, and she felt disgusting overall. Though she had packed lightly, her basket felt heavier by the minute, and it kept thumping against her leg in an increasingly annoying way.
And that is definitely something I must mention again! The descriptions! I know that sensory or setting descriptions don't often come naturally to you in your writing, but I think they were distinct and well executed throughout this story. I could clearly feel and see and hear and picture everything.
It struck me as I read these opening paragraphs. I am familiar with long walks in the heat and dust, and this definitely brought that kind of thing vividly to mind again. And the descriptions of setting and physical feelings remained fairly constant as I read onwards. ✨ I think this contributed to the slightly different feel of this story.

“Greetings, Disgusting. I’m Atar,” her father said with a twinkle in his dark brown eyes. He rumpled her hair teasingly, and she rolled her eyes, but couldn’t help but smile. Antamo wasn’t a particularly tall Elf, but he was strong and muscular from his years of carpentry work, so Aranya always found his embrace to be especially comforting—even if his jokes were a bit cheesy.
Hehehehe, dad jokes. :3
I liked Antamo already just from this, and it didn't change as I went on. Goofy humour and a love for crafting things? How could I not like him? >_> 👌
I also appreciated the warmth of the relationship between him and Aranya. I know I haven't seen much of him yet, but I think he's getting added to my list of loveable Silm OCs. 😂

Antamo wasn’t a particularly tall Elf,
“We have a bath heated up for you already. There is some fresh lavender you can use if you’d like it,” her mother added. She was small and slight with dark, wavy hair like Aranya, but her gray eyes always held a look of seriousness.
Seems like a family of smol elves in their smol cottage. 🥺 😂

Aranya had told Maitimo all about this place. He told her it sounded lovely and he wanted to visit it. If only…
Aw. Wouldn't that be the dream? 🥺 Indeed, I do think Maitimo would very much like this place.

Aranya forced a smile and nodded, but did not respond.

As usual, her father came to the rescue by changing the subject. “Is that Tecno fellow still bothering you?”

Here, Aranya’s smile returned as a mischievous grin. “No… not since Prince Nolofinwë gave him a little talk. I’d give anything to know exactly what he said! Tecno seems terrified of me now.”

“As he ought to be, and should have been from the beginning!”

Aranya and Antamo laughed heartily. Almanis seemed less amused, primly cutting and eating her vegetables.

“Well, going back to what I said earlier about second chances,” Almanis said, “you do know, Aranya dear, you have much better options, and one who is close to home and still open to you, at that.”
Aranya's relationship with her mother seems rather more complicated. I get the sense that they tend to express their thoughts and feelings quite differently, and so misunderstandings can arise, or they can easily rub each other the wrong way. And though it is clear that Almanis cares for Aranya (she puts in the work to take care of the orchid that reminds her of her, for example), and she wants Aranya to have a good and successful life, her ideas for what a 'good life' looks like often do not align with Aranya's preferences and perspective. And she is not easily persuaded otherwise. More's the pity, for it seems like it's a constant source of stress for Aranya.

Aranya ended up being glad she ate before bathing, because it would have been hard to enjoy the bath on an empty stomach. Feeling full and content, she relaxed in the bath with its lavender and rose petals for a good long while. She soaked her hair in the water so it floated gracefully near the surface, and the flower petals settled into it. She found herself imagining she was a Maia of Ulmo; they often presented themselves as half-Elda and half-fish. It sounded like an odd combination, but based on the graceful statues and paintings she had seen of these creatures, they were a magical sight to behold.
Meranya! ✨ 🧜🏻‍♀️ 😂

Her irritation was forgotten, though, when she settled into her old bed for the night. It was still covered with the quilt she had made as a young girl. It had been her first real sewing project, and her mother had helped her with it quite a bit. It didn’t quite suit Aranya’s preferences anymore, since it was a hodgepodge of whatever loud colors and patterns had caught her eye back then. Now, she would have preferred a calmer color scheme of various pinks and purples. But the nostalgia of it was comforting. With that and the familiar feel of her old mattress, she fell asleep almost in an instant.
...Now this doesn't sound at all like anyone I know, does it...? 🤔🤭

...Rest assured, I have picked up on the many other similarities in opinions and preferences (and frustrations) between you and Aranya, scattered throughout this story. If you've ever mentioned it in a conversation with me before... I've almost certainly picked up on it here again. Particularly regarding aesthetics and organisation, which is unsurprising, given the greater focus on describing the setting/surroundings.
And am I surprised? No. Aranya = Maitimelia.

It was a good thing indeed that she hadn’t searched for her art supplies that night. She set to it the next morning, and it took her over an hour to move around, and look through, the various dusty crates and chests. Finally, she found her parchment and charcoal and paints in a plain-looking box, buried near the bottom of the pile.

To her disappointment, the paints were dried up. No matter; she could make do with just the parchment and charcoal.
Weirdly, when I read this bit, it reminded me of a totally different character: Edrahil. Who's technically not an original character, because he exists in the Silmarillion. But he is such a minor character that he is practically an OC anyway, given how much I've expanded on his personality.

His main craft is painting, and he likes to spend time sketching things. I recently wrote about him (as a youth) drawing with charcoal in my one-shot The Sculpture and the Willow.
Interestingly, he is an ISFP, like Aranya. Though he has a somewhat different vibe, being patient and quiet/reserved.

Without bothering to put on shoes or do her hair, she took the supplies out to the woods, so her parents wouldn’t ask her what she was drawing. She sat on the swing which her father had built for her as a child, and rocked gently back and forth as she began her sketch. This was something she’d been wanting to try for some years now, but she never dared to at the House of Nolofinwë for fear of someone discovering it.

It was trickier than she’d expected without having Maitimo in front of her, and her sketching skills were rather rusty. But after several attempts, she felt satisfied that it was indeed his dimpled smile and his soft eyes staring up at her from the page.
Ah, here it is, the scene from your drawing! 🌳 🪾 ✍🏻 💖
I thought it would be likely for her to sketch something to do with Maitimo, and indeed, it is him she drew. When I read this, I pictured her sketch as looking like your sketches of Maitimo.

Perhaps Írissë might like it, but then again, this was her cousin, so that could again be awkward for Aranya to explain. Írissë seemed to be strangely supportive of Aranya spending time with Maitimo, but Aranya had never told her openly about it.
Oh, hmm, is she now? 👀 🤭

As she sat on the swing, contemplating this, she nearly jumped when something soft brushed against her ankle. Glancing down, she saw the source of the touch: a fluffy white cat, staring up at her with big blue eyes.

“Oh, hello! Who might you be?” Aranya was unable to resist reaching down to pet the silky white fur. The cat pressed her head firmly into Aranya’s hand, and Aranya both heard and felt the low vibrations of a purr in the creature’s throat.
And here we have one last piece to complete the picture. An outrageously fluffy cat, of course! A short story focused on Aranya wouldn't be complete without it. Such a sweet and well-behaved cat too!

She glanced down at the drawing in her hands and had a very silly thought. “I guess you’re the only one I can show this to. Promise not to tell anyone? I’ll get in big trouble if anyone finds out.”

The cat looked her in the eye and blinked slowly.

Smiling, Aranya sat on the ground and presented the drawing to the cat, as though she were a discerning art critic. “If you only knew my subject, I think you’d say this is a remarkable likeness.”

I found myself smiling as I read this part. So sweet and wholesome, and a little humorous.

“Gladly.” She took the basket he offered her… and a sudden intrusive thought entered her head.
This made me chuckle! Mr. Tecno Lóremo Collins strikes again! 😂
And Aranya will strike back if he decides to bother her again.
With a tomato.

And when she arrived, she wasn’t sure if she would be comforted by reuniting with her parents and childhood home, or if she would once again feel stifled and controlled.
Aranya becomes more and more relatable everyday.
It be like that, eh?
I relate to this a lot, personally. Excitement makes put off thing I have to do, and I end up stressed and disorganized.
Which reminded her, she’d have to be careful not to talk about Maitimo at all. Last time she had visited home, she had eagerly told her parents all about how she had helped him recover from his horse riding accident, and they had warned her not to get too attached to a patient. So that meant if anyone asked, she took her afternoon lunches all by herself. Absolutely no Fëanorian princes were picnicking with her, thank you very much! And she had not heard from Maitimo since his accident but could only assume he was doing well. What reason would someone of his status have to talk to her, after all? Oh yes, and if she did have to talk about him for some reason, he was Prince Nelyafinwë, not Maitimo. Aranya’s mother had raised her eyebrows to hear her refer to the prince with such familiarity.
I love how you depict social classes in your fic. I've seen it being exaggerated to both ends, with people making Finwians equal to their subject like it's modern democracy, and I've seen them shown like cruel overlords. I don't think either is right, and you have found the perfect middle-ground.
“I believe you are more than capable of working alongside the healers of King Finwë,” she said. “It is such a shame you declined the invitation. Have you reconsidered it at all?”

Aranya’s smile faded, and she felt as though a dark cloud had suddenly crashed in on her mood. Why did Almanis feel the need to remind her of how she had humiliated herself in front of Prince Fëanáro and earned the scorn and judgment of Finwë’s healers? And how those healers were so strict and legalistic in their moral ideals that Aranya couldn’t stand the idea of working with them, and declined their invitation when they offered her a second chance?
I'm not sure if this was intentional, but her parents reminded me of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet a lot. A gentle father who is more easygoing but a rather a stern mother who is constnatly worried about her future to the point she won't stop interfering with her personal life even though she's an adult.

The whole exchange between Aranya and her mom was sad to watch, and I didn't like how hard Aranya had to try to restrain herself from being herself in front of the only people who are supposed to love her unconditionally.
She couldn't tell them the truth about why she wasn't accepting the offer from the House of Finwe, or why she wasn't considering Moldo as a future husband for herself (also, Mold? Poor guy), and she's not even allowed to ignore them without being judged. It's damned if you do, damned if you don't.
The first real frustration of her visit came when she decided she wanted to break out her old art supplies and do some sketching before bed. She opened up the chest where she kept her art supplies and… they weren’t there. Some of her mother’s herbs and vials were in there instead.

She walked out to the sitting room, where her mother sat embroidering while her father read out loud to her. “Ammë?” she asked. “Where are my art supplies?”

“Hmm?” Almanis glanced up from her embroidery with a blank look on her face. “Why would I know where they are?”

“Because I found some of your medicinal supplies in my art chest.” Aranya hoped she didn’t sound as annoyed as she felt. It would be one thing if her mother at least had a good memory of the way she rearranged Aranya’s things. But no, Almanis liked to put Aranya’s things in places that made no sense and then forget about it.

“Oh! That’s right, I remember now. I put them in a storage box in the cellar. I figured it’s been years since you last used those supplies.”
And I remember where you got the inspiration from for this...

It was a delight to read about our dear Ari and all of her hobbies. It gave off a cozy feeling I really liked.

And of course, the neding. It was such a sweet and adorable scene, watching as Aranya felt safe enough to just be herself for once after so long, and the precious drawing of Maitimo, which I'm sure he would have adored if she had given it to him.
The kitty cameo was adorable too. I was Mairanya to live in a small cottage together and have a lot kitties. Though I think they will have a hard time keeping Tyelko out.

Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

Írissë is Aredhel, correct? It's interesting that Aranya seems to be close to her.
Yes! And you're going to see more of Íri and Aranya coming up in IC&SF!

It's so annoying when parents don't respect your privacy! I hate when anyone comes into my room when I'm trying to relax and have some alone time.

I quite enjoyed this look at Aranya's life outside of the main narrative of IC&SF. I think it fleshes her out more, and shows she is a character who can stand 'on her own two feet' as it were, without the presence of the Silmarillion characters we know so well. Thanks! It is a pet peeve of mine when a character exists solely to support another character. I once read some writing advice that said something to the effect of, every character in the story should think the story is about them. In other words, even minor side characters should have a fleshed out life of their own (even if it's not a focus of the narrative).

And that is definitely something I must mention again! The descriptions! I know that sensory or setting descriptions don't often come naturally to you in your writing, but I think they were distinct and well executed throughout this story. I could clearly feel and see and hear and picture everything.

Oh good, I'm so glad! And yeah, I'm familiar with spending extended time in the heat during my Civil War reenactments.

Aww, good!! I was thinking of you as I wrote him! I felt like he would vibe well with Servo Vibes.

Seems like a family of smol elves in their smol cottage. 🥺 😂
Aw. Wouldn't that be the dream? 🥺 Indeed, I do think Maitimo would very much like this place.
Boy, now I'm imagining the potential awkwardness of Maitimo visiting. He'd probably feel like he's sitting on chairs for kindergarteners! 😂

Maybe that's the first visit, but by the next time he comes, Antamo has built a new chair which is much better suited to Maitimo's height!

Indeed. The dynamic with Almanis specifically was a tricky one for me to balance. On one hand, I'm not about demonizing a character just because the protagonist has certain issues with them, and Almanis is a loving mother and a fine healer, so I wanted to make sure she was portrayed at least somewhat positively. On the other hand, I felt there had to be a clear reason why Aranya was chomping at the bit to move away from her parents.

...Now this doesn't sound at all like anyone I know, does it...? 🤔🤭

...Rest assured, I have picked up on the many other similarities in opinions and preferences (and frustrations) between you and Aranya, scattered throughout this story. If you've ever mentioned it in a conversation with me before... I've almost certainly picked up on it here again. Particularly regarding aesthetics and organisation, which is unsurprising, given the greater focus on describing the setting/surroundings.
And am I surprised? No. Aranya = Maitimelia.
Lol! As I said yesterday to @Fingon_Findekáno , this story is kind of Amelia Bingo. 😂

Oh that's interesting!

This made me chuckle! Mr. Tecno Lóremo Collins strikes again! 😂
And Aranya will strike back if he decides to bother her again.
With a tomato.
💯

I relate to this a lot, personally. Excitement makes put off thing I have to do, and I end up stressed and disorganized.
Yeah, I can sure relate a lot to my entire morning slipping away too! On Fridays, for example, when I'm trying to get ready to go out and study, I'm like, "how is it 11:00 already and all I've done is gotten dressed and eaten breakfast?"

I love how you depict social classes in your fic. I've seen it being exaggerated to both ends, with people making Finwians equal to their subject like it's modern democracy, and I've seen them shown like cruel overlords. I don't think either is right, and you have found the perfect middle-ground.
Thank you! I don't like either extreme either. The dynamic between nobility and servants is not something we really have today, but I like to imagine the Nolofinwians as treating their servants with dignity and respect, but they're not peers. (Except in the case of Íri and Aranya, and that's mostly because Íri is so bored without any female cousins or sisters close to her age, and Aranya is a bit of a loner when it comes to the other servants who think she's weird.)

I'm not sure if this was intentional, but her parents reminded me of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet a lot. A gentle father who is more easygoing but a rather a stern mother who is constnatly worried about her future to the point she won't stop interfering with her personal life even though she's an adult.
True! Though I'd say Almanis has a much more sensible head on her shoulders than Mrs. Bennett.

Yeah, it is sad. This is definitely the main reason why Aranya felt she had to get away from her parents at a young age.

also, Mold? Poor guy
Lol, I promise I didn't do that on purpose! 😂 I was just using the Quenya name generator, and this one meant "laborer," which I thought would be good for a respectable and hardworking but kind of unexciting guy.

I believe he took revenge on me this week by ruining my grapes and almost ruining my Civil War petticoats.

It was a delight to read about our dear Ari and all of her hobbies. It gave off a cozy feeling I really liked.
Oh good! I wanted it to be a calming and refreshing read, a break from the usual angst and drama.

and the precious drawing of Maitimo, which I'm sure he would have adored if she had given it to him.
He probably would have! 🥺Aranya just sees how embarrassed he is about Nerdanel sculpting these huge and lifelike statues of him, and all the "TikTok influencers" in Tirion who want him to model their stuff, so she thinks she'd embarrass him even more with her drawing. IT'S NOT TRUE, ARI!!!

The kitty cameo was adorable too. I was Mairanya to live in a small cottage together and have a lot kitties. Though I think they will have a hard time keeping Tyelko out.
Aww, that's not a problem!

Thank you, everyone, for your comments! They really meant a lot to me!

Aww, good!! I was thinking of you as I wrote him! I felt like he would vibe well with Servo Vibes.
🥺☺️

Boy, now I'm imagining the potential awkwardness of Maitimo visiting. He'd probably feel like he's sitting on chairs for kindergarteners! 😂

Maybe that's the first visit, but by the next time he comes, Antamo has built a new chair which is much better suited to Maitimo's height!
This mental image made me chuckle lol!
