Glorfindel essay

[Garwen]

Can anyone tell me if there is any extensive essays about Glorfindel in any of HoME books or any where else for that matter?

HoME 12

There JRRT goes in depth about Glorfindel being released from Mandos, and writes down some ideas about why he was released so soon and to Valinor. He also writes ideas of how, when and why Glorfindel returned to Middle-earth. there is even mention of Glorfindel being kin somehow of Turgon's.
