Hair Dye, Cloning and General Epic Chaoticness

Welcome to the Chaotic RP of TTF! This is a fun, spontaneous, lighthearted, and most importantly, chaotic RP which is available to anyone who wishes to join. While our primary goal is to have fun, we have a few rules in order to keep some method to the madness.
  • Firstly, each character belongs to their respective TTF user. In other words, you can't write for a character if someone else has claimed that character. If you're new to the thread, please ask the group which characters are available before you claim one.
  • Even though this thread is chaotic and spontaneous, we do have a storyline going. If you're new to the thread, please read the most recent few pages, or more, so you're caught up on what's going on.
  • Make sure to interact with other people's characters. Don't just go off and write your own thing without interacting with anybody.
  • Don't completely ignore or change the storyline.
  • At the same time, please be flexible if someone introduces a new turn of the plot. This is not a carefully planned RP, and it needs to have flexibility for any chaotic new thing someone comes up with (within reason-- it does need to connect to the main story at least loosely).
  • If you are writing for multiple characters, use a script format to indicate which character is speaking. Use asterisks* to denote action. For example:
    • Maitimo: *tries to shake Celeraccoon off his arm* STOP BITING ME, TYELKO!
  • Try to keep spam to a minimum. I would define "spamming" in this thread as writing more than a page over the course of a few hours. (This can be a tough one to follow, I know.) But spamming makes it hard for other people to keep up.
  • At the same time, if you're going to be absent for an extended period of time, we recommend writing your character out temporarily (such as having them disappear or go somewhere) so other people can continue while you're gone.

Being 'manipulative' is simply exercising influence over a person or situation. Which could take many forms, Tyelko, so I would be inclined to agree that this is a form of manipulation.

Might I remind you this was my own method of 'manipulation' when I was very young... I didn't have many ulterior motives back then, but still, I was purposeful.

*he goes to where Curufin is sitting and plops himself down in a loaf behind him, still observing the assembly of 'twolegs'*

*Curufin gives a brief scratch behind his ears, still wondering what the cat could possibly have said about him*

*mutters* Or does he just smell dog on your clothes...?

Yaulë: *starts eyeing the bunny hungrily*
Curufin places a finger on his head.
Curufin: *sternly, sounding not unlike Fëanor chiding his children when they were small* Yaulë. You will get some of my dinner, as always. There is no need for that.

Yaulë accepts this and moves around to Curufin's other side. Instead, he occupies himself by observing Nelyo. Or is it the flowers on Nelyo's head? Who knows. Even in cat speech, he is silent.
 
Yaulë is still staring in the same direction and does not move, but he does make some brief chirping/chattering noises: 'Strong Voice takes Yaulë places. Metal Hand lets Yaulë go places.' *he flicks an eartip* 'Metal Hand remembers Yaulë is not a kitten to be taken by the scruff of the neck.'

Curufin: *looks down curiously at these strange cat noises and studies Yaulë's expression* Do you know, Tyelko, it would seem he's making some sharp remarks. Can't think who he'd have learned it from.

Yaulë: *looks confused because there is no distinction between different types of carrying for cats, since they can only carry kittens in one way*
*does the cat equivalent of clearing his throat* Ah, your licking was quickly and randomly done, but the affection was evident. So I accept that offering only, Strong Voice.
 
Oh ...so ...do you want more huggies? You just have to promise to leave the bunny alone!

Yaulë: *still staring in the same direction* Head scratches. *gets to his feet suddenly* ...Excuse me. I seek my next quarry. *he makes a beeline for Maedhros*

*Curufin looks back and forth between the chattering elf and cat, somewhat bewildered.*

Yaulë: *placing a paw on Nelyo's leg, looking up with wide eyes* I know you can hear me. Some of Tree Mother's children sit upon you.

It seems that he has been partially drawn by Yavanna's power, since she cares for the plants and the animals.
