Hard hit knife

I care about things that make the story unbelievable...like 2 people taking out 300 orcs and a chipped knife standing a direct blow from a sword.:p

What the hell is so believable about a movie with Elves, Orcs, Wizards, Lake Monsters, Walking Trees and a magic ring?

Man you must be fun at parties. Do you actually dance to the music, or do you sit down and analyze the time signatures to make sure they shift properly?

COOL KNIFE

While we're on the subject of this weapon, does anyone else think it's really cool? I wonder if United Cutlery has any plans to make a replica of this knife as they've done with the other weapons from the films. I'm pretty sure they'd sell more of these then that bent bar that the orcs carry!:D

What I find funny is how some people argue that changes to the charactors and what not are for the better since they make them seem more real, more believable... and yet when someone says that something does not seem realist or believable enough, the arguement about this all being fantasy comes in.
Which is it now?

There is a difference between fantasy and just unrealisticness. Like if the Uruk-hai were as strong as they were then why were 2 people able to take out 300 of them?:p

But a walking tree is so far from reality it is pure fantasy.

i believe their were 4, and not all 300 died, at all. In the movie, they made areagorn stand on a ledge, so only 2 at a time could try to kill him. But u must also remember that Elrond can teach kings how to be like elves, and only kings can do this. So if you have a dwarf, who lives longer then humans, i forget exact years, are there some?, and two elvish fighters, and one human, they can kick some 10 second creations butt!! But the human did die, poor Boromir, didn' tlike him anyway. JK!:D

oh waw. viggo mortensen really hit that? cool! i will have to go back and view that scene.

Yeah, that's one of the coolest things in that movie. Aragorn slashing the thrown dagger out of mid air with his sword.

Yes, i am talking about Aman Hen, (did i spell it right?) anyway, Yes, that seems unrealistic, but the dwarf has his axe, and wide sweeping motions are a plus. ONly 4 can attack the two at one time, so it isn't that unrealistic. And orcs are stupid, plus Eru is watching over them, he has to be!
