Ugh, Middle-earth. It’s… really pretty, I guess. But honestly, the societies? I don’t even know where to start. Which one’s actually the worstly constructed?
Orcs are… awful. Ents are slow. Valar? They just… sit there. I guess they’re important, but mostly… not helpful.
Anyway. Middle-earth is beautiful, but I keep wondering: if you had to pick, which society is really the weakest in terms of actually working? And which society is the greatest in terms of actually working?
- Elves. Immortal, beautiful, all that, but also… kind of broody? The Noldor can’t let anything go—wars, grudges, drama, repeat. Makes you wonder if anyone actually has a functioning government.
- Dwarves. Obsessed with gold, grudges, and… facial hair? I mean, it’s funny, but also kind of chaotic. How do they even organize anything without constantly fighting each other?
- Humans. Honestly, humans. Always screwing up, then acting shocked when things fall apart. Gondor, Númenor… it’s like a pattern of failure. Couldn’t they learn something?
- Hobbits. Cute and cozy, sure. But drop them into the real world? Chaos. Sam carries everyone anyway, which is impressive, but also… why is everyone relying on him?
Orcs are… awful. Ents are slow. Valar? They just… sit there. I guess they’re important, but mostly… not helpful.
