Have you reviewed the information in appendix A of LoTR by chance?
that’s about as much as we have I think.
Fosters Complete Guide to Middle-earth has a tidbit as well.
Rumor (fan-fic) has it that a direct maternal line from the younger sister of King Dirion of Cardolan managed to survive the centuries in the Lost Realm of Arnor. They at first migrated to western Arthedain where they made a living as peasant farmers , but sold their land to a family of Hobbits when they arrived around 1600 III. The settlement then migrated south, first to the western reach of Enedwaith where they lived quietly; isolated, unseen, and unbothered.
There, they survived the plague that swept north out of Calenardhon and decimated the remaining population of Cardolan in 1636 III. They moved back north into Arthedain around 1700 III, and remained there through a couple centuries before moving back to southwestern Cardolan north of Lond Daer in 1950 III.
There, being far removed from the battles to the north, they managed to survive the sacking and downfall of Arthedain in 1975 III even though many of the youngmen marched north to war for Arthedain.
They then lived in relative peace even if the farming was hard, until the coming of the Éothéod to Calenardhon in 2510 III. Dunlendings who wished not to fight the newly established Rohirrim Kingdom fled north, and the Dunlanding clan wars started to cause troubles.
Though the settlement dwindled through the many years, one family remained, and even prospered for a time. They had some troubles during the War of the Ring with roving gangs of deserting Dunlending soldiers, but Lord Bereth and Lady Verawyn managed to appease them for the most part. It wasn't until after the war that the troubles came and found them in earnest...
(I was just playing with bridging two of my favorite fanfics I've read here! I hope Valandil and Alqualisse don't mind.)
