I got the TTT DVD yesterday and on the ROTK preview, there were some glimpses of the halls of Minas Tirith.
I didn't imagine it to be so clean cut and shiny (The stone, that is)
It looks suprisingly modern
What did everyone else think?

Also, what do you think Pelennor Fields will be like.
200,000 uruks

MUST....SEE....RETURN..OF..THE.....KING......NOW!!!!

I believe the appropriate term is "Nuff said"

Clean cut and shiny?!? I thought it looked dirty and yucky! It's meant to be nice clean pearly white, expecially the Tower of Ecthelion!

Not sure about the modern thing. I'll have another look.

I like the inside of the Tower of Ecthelion though. It's cool. I saw a screenshot which looked like it had been darkened or something and I thought no way! But then I saw it on the DVD and I was relieved. Anyway yeah......umm.....I forgot was I was gonna say!

I thought it looked a tad bit too straight-edged and dark, rather quite modern. I imagined it to be more white stone and marble, with more decoration and majesty. Not that I'm complaining, it still looks fantastic. :D

I haven't seen that yet. But I have imagined it to be as white as the Taj Mahal. From your description it seems like it's no where near to that.

No, it's not white enough GoldenWood. You've probably watched it by now and have formed your own opinion, but I think that the stone is all yucky! Blech! They're Men, not Orcs!
