Video Game Minecraft: Wynncraft update

I used to play on this Minecraft server called Wynncraft quite often when I was in high school. It's kind of like a fantasy RPG, with quests to complete, armour and items to collect or craft, and particular skills to develop based on the class you chose when logging in (e.g. mage, archer, assassin).

I just learned they're getting an update with a massive expansion, a new area and quests, and lots of other changes besides. It's been a while since I played, but now I'm feeling like getting back into it soon!

Crafting is something you can level up in too, not just combat. You can buy weapons and armour, and accessories such as rings and necklaces which give you particular abilities or increase your stats. Or, you can buy some tools (such as axes, pickaxes, fishing rods) and gather materials from the environment so you can craft your own items.

I spent some time mining copper and cutting oak wood, so that I could craft some daggers (as I chose the assassin class, so a dagger is my main weapon). As I level up in weaponsmithing, I will be able to use better materials and create higher level daggers. Which are more durable or have better stats. Copper can also be used in jeweling (making accessories).

Not even close lol. 🤭 It's a low level dagger, with a wooden handle. I think it might be one I crafted though, with +20% attack damage, thanks to me adding rotten flesh (gained from killing zombies) to it while crafting.

As it's been a while since I played, I reset my character to start from the beginning, so I could better appreciate all the new changes.

And yeah, that's another thing. I have to keep my weapon close to hand while mining (with a pickaxe) or chopping wood (with an axe), as I will get attacked by enemy mobs when I'm outside the city. I have to keep an eye out so they don't sneak up on me!

I tried playing a few times, but unfortunately it was too laggy for me. I wasn't able to do basic things like equip armor or use special attacks, so I couldn't get past the fight with the scarecrow thingy. It looks like a cool server though!
