Sighting Turgon walked through the portal leading into his rooms; yet again the council had requested a summit about Ondolinë, and once again he had had to explain everything over and over again. Why couldn't they see what he saw? It was the only way to insure the survival of their kin, both of them. This far only Ecthelion and Glorfindel had found his reasons not to tell anyone of the dream until now acceptable. Al else though there was still other things that he had not shared with the houses. A few, mostly sindari even doubted that there had ever been a message from Ulmo, Especially as the vala had been said to have had forsaken the Noldor. Sinking down on a diva he resumed the work he had begun earlier in the morning - Going through the rapports from the masterarchitect of the city -

... after exiting Annon-in-Gelydh Orodur and Ingilon came out into a cleft. Its walls were too steep for their horses, and it was some time ere they found a place where steps had been made leading up to the south side of the ravine.

They rode into the night, southward along the shore, making for the halls of Turgon, which they knew to be located in the south-west of the land, nigh the coast. When morning came the quays of Nevrast lie ahead within sight. The two halted so their horses could rest and they gazed southward towards the docks. "The ships of the Grey Elves! I knew not that so many were moored this far north!'

"And we knew not that the horses of Hithlum were ridden so hard on journeys of leisure." A voice cried, from behind them in the hills.

Orodur and Ingilon stepped forward, mouths agape, and looked dumbly about.

Some Grey Elves laughed, stepping into view from behind tall grass.

Orodur spoke: "We have an urgent errand to your Lord Turgon. Tell us whither lie the halls of Vinyamar, and which route will take us there the soonest?"

The Sindar showed them to a place where they were able to ride up through the hills along the coast and so enter into the green land beyond. Nevrast, like Hithlum, was also misty, at least at this time of year. Even so, the mist was less, and the air warmer, and there were many birds who did not migrate from the land even in the winter. There the messengers were greeted by many Sindar and Noldor, and loaned new horses. One of the Sinder rode with them south to Vinyamar, and that evening they entered into Turgon's lofty halls.

Late that night one of the servants came to Turgons quarters
"There's a messenger from Lord Fingolfin outside my lord, he requests an audience with you immediately"
"Send him in" Turgon yawned for he had been up very long and was just about to get ready for bed.
As soon as the messenger had entered and had made his bow Turgon asked about the message and the answer indeed troubled him greatly. it had been long since the king had required his aid and opinion in matters like these and he would have to go to Mithlond to aid him in whatever way possible. Perfect, just what i need right now! Turgon though as he was reminded of the council. There was no telling what they would do to hinder the construction wile he was gone, yet he could not ignore a request for help from a friend...

Early the following day the lord of Nevrast set out with his men and headed for the lake of Mithirim
