---------------------1943/11/12 00:00, 2 hours before operation behead begun-------------

Centuries of seeming peace had weakened the Gondor southern front’s vigilance, in comparison with the northern front as the only first line against the Wain-Riders, till now. To distract Gondor’s forces from the northern front, the Witch-King ordered Operation Pincer, forming a whole new offense from Harrad in order to take down Gondor once and for all, by taking Pelargir, having about one third of the whole Gondor’s production of arms as well as wealth under control.

Further, laid next to Minas-Anor and Osgiliath, having just only about between 40 kms to 50 kms from both of them, Pelargir stood as the final cover protecting the heartland of Gondor from any southern threat. It’s beyond doubt that what would take places if such key point fell into the hands of the Dark Lord’s Forces.

However, such place of potential conflicts showed nothing to commensurate it’s coming storm of warfare, not only fewer than one tenth Knight-class units of the whole Gondor’s military but fewer than a half of South-Gondor’s provincial auxiliary armed forces were on duties during this month, there’s no better option so important yet insufficiently defended for the Dark Lord’s forces to open their next idea battlefield. If things went much better, Gondor, the most potential rival to stand in the way to destroy Arnor, about to fall with it at the same time.

As the most cunning commander of all times, the Witch-King sent his deputy, Khamul, already infiltrating into Harrad, 4 legions of Corsairs, Gothmog, Ancalagon and Carcharoth, and Ungoliant composed of 300000 personnel, all Dark Numenorean, along with hundreds of all kinds of finest artillery as well as vehicles, instigating the Southern Gondor’s Lord to rebel, and having all the transport to the southern gate of Gondor’s heartland Pelargir under control, to launch a full new offense from the southern front of Gondor in secret.

However, fortune wasn’t favoring Dark Lord’s in total. The Southern Gondor’s Lord, bribed in secrets, yet absent most of his minions, such as civic officials, local auxiliary military forces, and so on, having no choices but plotting to rebel on his own. In addition, the Free People weren’t absent prepare at all. On the other hands, Gondor Southern Battlefield Commander Earnil had already detected the series of abnormal activities due to the frequently increasing intercepted interaction between the Harrad and Easterlings kingdoms since the first border conflict took places between the Wain-Riders after the Battle of the Plains. Yet before any acts of public war’s declaration, any act about to stimulate further conflicts, making Gondor have to fight on the northern and southern front at the same time had better be avoided as much as possible.

In order to make the finest choice during such sandwich-like and embarrassed table, the Inquisitors Division, whose strength was so small only composed of 4000 personnel yet with their almost only already made but the highest one-day annihilating record among all Middle-Earth History of killing 30000 Easterling when it’s still just a tiny battalion composed of 400 men during the 1942 accident against the Wain-Riders, under their then also inexperienced but competent commander Ciryatur.,the most idea choice having both potential competence and reputation low enough to avoid any obvious hostile mood increased from the Harrad.

In addition, the Inquisitors Division was in charge of border emergent military acts in the first places, there’d be no any smarter choice than such unit so experienced in emergent responds in such emergent situation. As everything could be prepared was made on both side, a dice would decide the fate of Middle-Earth was casted thus.

Pelargir was now surrounded by 4 legions of Corsairs, Gothmog, Ancalagon and Carcharoth, and Ungoliant composed of 300000 personnel, all Dark Numenorean, along with hundreds of all kinds of finest artillery as well as vehicles, whose way was blocked by nothing but a experimental division composed of nothing but 4000 personnel, called Inquisitors as well as no more than dozens of artillery pieces, vehicles, and all kinds of the other just invented machines, classified before, commanded by major general Ciryatur.

However, in spite of the visible disparity, the cruel fact that size mattered nothing always ruled so universally would be proved by these whole 4000 personnel garrisons.

Knowing that what would happen if Pelargir such important point, the most potential of not only the transport heart but also the key of all kinds of aspects such as commercial on economic and so on, having all his units under experiments on the surface, while Ciryatur took acts without haste, including having all the instigated Lord’s personal communication under control in secret before a few days ago, and so forth, then such vigilant acts came to it’s deserved price before long.

The signal from the bribed Gondor lord transmitted into Khamul as his expected even after it’s interception and it’s sender’s secret execution by the Inquisitors was only the prologue of his destructive nightmare.

------------------------------------------------1943/11/12 2:30-----------------------------------------

Just as classified as it’s comrades, the only first cluster shot of the Inquisitor’s experimental artillery-Devastator Of The Judgement Day declared the beginning of Khamul’s devastating wake-up by his Ancalagon Legion’s absolutely total annihilation without any survival, taking the lives of 30000 personnel as well as all it’s every kind of machines at once together.

Considering such devastation as unintentional discharge of armory in the first place, Khamul didn’t get waken before long till multiple destructive infiltrating assault and led so airstrike caused by highly classified flying machines begun to devastate his whole army massively and accurately.

In order to gain the first upper hands by surprise assault at his targeted foes still under experiments, in theory at least, deploying them into dense formation according to his expectation, Khamul’s original plan now became his deadliest weak-point as due to being nothing but preferred targets for Ciryatur’s “precise and destroy” tactic.

Intending no chances to survive in the first places, Ciryatur’s putted all their efforts into targets devastation of his foes despite its suicide or not as much as possible at all costs if the casualties ratio between their own and their targets was high enough according to their assert. As the intense deployment of the Dark Numenorean were too easily targeted to escape from any firepower, even merely the exchange ratio of killed personnel between the Dark Numenorean and the Inquisitors might be even as high as 200 to 1 in multiple combats. As prepared for a full frontal assault in total, the Dark Lord’s forces’ logistic was severely not well-prepared, in addition, as massive Inquisitors had infiltrated into their ranks successfully, leading to firepower guided deeply enough into those deeper ranks where the bulk of their logistic personnel were deployed and causing massive devastation at them just as destructive as those combat personnel as a result, many of their wounded were too late to get first medic aid, leading to the KIA records as high as maybe 118000 during only this day’s combat.

------------------------------------------------1943/11/12 4:30-----------------------------------------

However, after paying 70000 lives, the Dark Numenorean regained their military standard soon, showing acute tactical flexibility, by scattering their initial formation nothing but coveted targets into smaller but more mobile and flexible battle groups, spreading some of them as diversionary to attract the airstrike, while the others focusing themselves on dividing as well as annihilating the scattered and wild-spread Inquisitors.

Casualties begun to increase dramatically on both sides, in return, the Inquisitors started belaying all the air-strike, making all the Dark Numenorean battle groups deployed initially to attract the air-strike get attracted to their own instead, till enough having them accumulated much enough and then calling the airstrike decimating both themselves and their foes, causing much more than them and their initially expected casualties.

Both side fought with everything in their hands, not only cold steel but even all kinds material able to cause casualties at their enemies, including furniture, hard boxes, even bare hands and so on. Some sources even claimed that the average lifespan was even shorter than 1 hour.

After days of meat-grinder composed of taking turns to kill targets and being killed, the Dark Lord’s Forces, much more affordable for much higher casualties took the upper hands at last, due to their much higher combat strength on all kinds of aspects in spite of their commensurately destructive casualties.

At the destructive cost of 120000 dead personnel reported at least along with thousands of all kinds of arty and vehicles destroyed, the Dark Lord’s forces at last, took the upper hands as their price deserved as making sure at least 3000 of those Inquisitors were killed according to their corpses counted.

However, it’s just a prologue yet, as the Inquisitor division not only won the casualties records but the precious time for the most possible reinforcement to save Pelargir-it’s auxiliary force corps, angered by their lord’s betrayal as well as their homeland blasphemed. The arrival of the Pelargir auxiliary force division soon opened a new bloody chapter.

The Pelargir auxiliary force corps arrived just in time, opening a full new page of the blood and steel. The corps Commander Maj. Gn. Gremlin only merits were almost all from logistic parts, including the corps-smith regiment where he just transferred from. However, he’d prove experience might matter nothing soon.

With only no more than 1000 Inquisitors personnel, only a militia corps composed of 40000 personnel without any combat experience in the recent several decades, as well as firepower possibly inferior to his rival for 3 times lesser, yet fighting for their homeland as their ultimate weapons, Maj. Gn. Gremlin scattered all units into battalions battle groups, appointing their garrison area as closer to their own addresses as possible, the inexperienced showed much deadlier combat ability then their data on papers. In addition, Gremlin also putted his profession as military smith into the best use as his invisible but deadly cards by designing all the fortification and fire-power-net as deadly as possible, making Khamul repeat his deadly mistake soon.

Estimating his rivals had lost their bulk of combat power, Khamul again, would prove he should regret for having not learnt his lessons from his first several devastating defeats. After receiving “Nuts” as the only answer from Ciryatur and Gremlin, Khamul knew that they played for real before long. In the first few dozens of mins, several divisions had learned their places as believing their first several massive rockets launchers salvos truly destroyed their targets yet getting much-deadlier retaliations from their seemingly-easily-handled preys. Cross-fire-net guided by Inquisitors, ambushes of suicide charge, infiltrations from the remaining Inquisitors and border rangers, and so on, casualties of Khamul’s men repeated the calamities of the first offense. For instances, from 01:00 to 02:00, the 203 high ground combat had killed 10000 Khamul’s personnel, one of the many cases showing the similar tragedies.

However, noticing his 2nd rival were from less-sophisticated than his first rival, Khamul showed no hesitations as counter-retaliations proving his craftiness as a tactician, dispatching his forces into smaller battle groups, using the so-called “targeted and destroyed together” by sending some of them to contain their targets while having the firepower carpet from the rear to destroy them and their foes at the same time, meaning that each Free People garrisons battle groups would get annihilated far before they could reach the kill records high enough to worth their sacrifices.

What’s worse to the Free People, the Pelargir’s Auxiliary Corps lacked the aircrafts and tactical discipline standard as the Inquisitors despite their comparable morale, meaning that they had no counter-tactics like the Inquisitors during the 1st round at all. Personnel begun to die in thousands within hours or even mins, stuffing every base, alleys, and street. At 5:30, Gremlin and Ciryatur had devastated the last several direct assaults at their command headquarters, piled by more than thousands of corpses of both sides already.

The victory’s libra begun to lean to the Dark Lord’s forces as the Free People’s under such highly intensive meatgrinder keeping reaping all kinds of military strength on both sides.
