I miss the days of Windows XP when you could have gifs animated on your wallpaper. Ah well, days gone by.

I have a few wallpaper photos that I use the slideshow function to change out roughly every 6 hours (Grateful Dead and The Beatles of course), some of them are as follows:

I just recently changed my phone’s two wallpapers of many years to something fresh and Silm-related. 😁

They actually work really well as iphone wallpapers because with all the open space there’s plenty of room for the app icons and such without obscuring the main design, and the colors are bright and lovely.

A picture of some old walls in Avignon (France), from when we went there in 2017. The water is a branch of the Rhône river.

A photo of the sunset over the western sea (Indian Ocean) taken by my brother when he was out with friends.

These others were just found on the internet at some point.

^ I was very surprised when I found this picture, as it looks like one of the places in my invented world, where there is a giant range of mountains (some of which are volcanic) between the rainforests of the north and the icy lands of the west.

I used to have a gradient background. but after changing my morning alarm ringtone to Gollum's "Wake up! Wake up, sleepies! We must go, yes. we must go at once", I decided that my background should be equally Middle-Earth themed.
