Lucky you!
And that's what I'm gonna call paper books from now on!🙂

Into Ent's digital library this morning. Now all HoME'd up digitally as well as in dead tree version.

Yes, if luck is what it be called. Ent is more than very blessed in his last years here.

He lives in a place glutted with availability of and opportunity for "things" (which is largely unappreciated by most) - and though he must be cautious and selective with what he acquires, he is able to acquire those things of paramount importance to him.

Namely Tolkien. (among a couple others.)

He'd be happy with just the tree-based versions if he had more years... they're actually better (to him) for 'reading' while also good for study... but he doesn't have many years left, and well... there's RESEARCH to do..! Digital is such a help.

@Aredhel Ar-Feiniel - where you are, are you able to download the Kindle app and access Amazon.com or UK Amazon.com etc. ?

Umm no,I'm from Iran
I need an international bank account to order from Amazon or anywhere else
Usually someone will order these stuff and a friend that is abroad will buy those for them so they can send it to us...like certain skincare products or clothes...stuff like that we don't have access to because of the sanctions but I have yet to come across someone that takes orders for books let alone Tolkien's...and that's all not considering how much are the books and their shipments going to cost,I think it'll be 7-8 month worth of my allowance just for the books

@Aredhel Ar-Feiniel - Thank you. And this is exactly what Ent means by living where we are unappreciatively 'glutted' with availability and opportunity for 'things'..!!! Having done much work with groups in several places in Africa, he has learned a thing or two..!!

Ent will ponder this situation...
