If one is hungry, and cannot afford to purchase their food, then of course there is reason to avail themselves of the cycle of life.
Ent has no issue with the 'natural order of things.'

It is the unnatural - the unnecessary - the wanton - the indiscriminate - the thoughtless - the detrimental - abuse, degradation, and ultimate elimination of the natural order Ent sees all around him and takes issue with.

But we begin to derail the thread, pursuing this any further here. We shall return to scary events encountered.

For now, Ent will just add he has encountered the Human - far too closely and far too frequently - and that is, indeed, a scary event in every conceivable way! (For those who observe and think anyway.)

I was on vacation with my family. My son was a toddler and was in a stroller. We were visiting a mall when we suddenly heard 2 or 3 loud bangs and then people started running and screaming.

We run to a nearby store and they guided us outside through they backdoor.

Later we learnt that those gunshots were a diversion. She shot to the air to attract police to the mall while they committed a robbery nearby. We were never in danger but we didn't know that at the time.

Fighting local bushfires in 2020. Too busy to be scared at the time, but in retrospect.....
