Season 3 news

[Halasían]

@Halasían - I know it's impossible to have any sort of articulate discussion of this series on this website without the detractors consistantly flooding the threads. I just post this stuff here to stir them up, so don't go too hard on the 'self-proclaimed' Elite. 😆

I know. I'm not stirred up, because I don't expect much from someone who is the OP of the 'What PJ Got Right' thread. Their sense of timing here was strategically placed to derail notice away from the new posters you shared, and it worked as planned.

Anyway, here is more...

I kind of like the posters.
The one with Nazguls and Sauron.. their armor gave me (fantasy) mongols vibe.
Maybe Khamul was in charge for dress code that day.

But as I say, I like them overall.. all except the last one with Gandalf.. it doesn't give me Gandalf vibe at all, and looks like pretty generic fantasy.

[Erestor Arcamen]

Why is his sword kinda, sorta resting on his shoulder all by itself, unsupported?
Oh, yeah, that's right...AI forget to include his hand. 🤣

He has magnets in his neck

[Squint-eyed Southerner]

It's his "personal magnetism".

[Vardarianna]

I 'get it' administrators. It's all about balancing a sword. Fine.

Look! No hands! 👋
AI must have missed that! 😆

[Halasían]

Thanks for sharing these Eljorahir.

[Vardarianna]

Yes, thanks for sharing @Eljorahir!
Looking forward to November 11th!

Edit: I've gone elsewhere to talk Rings of Power.
It's clear that anybody who happens to be a fan of the show, faults and all, or may come to know Tolkien's writing via this show, isn't really welcome here. Sad.

[Erestor Arcamen]

I was trying to be neutral on the show and watch it/enjoy it as non-canon media but this is just stupid...

I just watched this trailer once, and couth so many errors.
Example:
Gandalf: "Our task was never be to destroy evil, but to inspire good".
---------------
That's just plain pathetic.
HIs task IS to DESTROY evil... and he did it (in the books).
His task was not to "inspire good" in a way we all should forgive all ( in Christians way), his way was "let's arm each other and let's strike enemy".
--------------
And then there are a brilliant, very smart messahes in the first part of the trailer.
