Use this thread for jokes and memes that do NOT relate to Tolkien.

Keep things appropriate or we'll have to sick Grond on you ;)

This post is directed toward our elvenkind.

The next part is sung to the tune "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'...." and plays off the subtle hints being given above.
---------------
"We Ents are made for stompin' - and that's just what we'll do.
One o' these days these Ents are gonna stomp all over you..!!!" (dum dum dum dum doom doom doom doom - imagine drums and guitars.)
-----------
The hint is, we don't want to have every thread turn into a 'tag everybody in the bro-fest and turn it into an Elf gathering" event.

There's a place for that, and many places it's not for... so perhaps a little restraint would be in order? Maybe?
(please??)

(says your Grand-ent.)

I need that Aww reaction now to use in order to get out of this via my grandelfling bonus points.
(Sorry if we forget ourselves sometimes. We try to restraint ourselves and take it to our GCs)

forget ourselves sometimes
Forgetting of onesselves is common to youth, and borne with patience and forbearance (and frequently great good will).
Remembrance of others is often the solution for forgetting of the self, bringing balance to the force.
No clarifications are necessary - whether 'in or out' of character(s).
It's just been noted to be an increasingly frequent happening.

There are other threads, like the writing thread, music thread, and things like that, more specific to certain groups... these are a little 'looser' environment I would say.
Balance is the key. How to achieve it? I have no clue.
