Tolkien Artwork

It's subjective, I admit.

But in this case, I'd say seeing those oliphants would be over acceptable limits.

And I imagine Rosie would agree. 😅

An oliphant jumped over the Moon. :D
Definitely not canon. ;)
In the small book of poetry "The Adventures of Tom Bombadil", in poem 5 "The Man In The Moon Stayed Up Too Late", JRRT "explains" how the well-known English nursery rhyme came to claim "the cow jumped over the moon".

The book has a preface in which JRRT pretends that all of these poems are from "The Red Book of Westmarch", thus sort of tacking them on to the legendarium (mostly on the Hobbit side).

I know that it's not canon. :) Today I took part in a school competition and read this poem in English.

Problem is, elephants can't jump - not even the babies.
And what about cows?

Some works by a relatively new artist.

I found a website where you can put random words in and the AI generates art in the style you chose. I had some fun ^ 😋
