ElfinFen's character drawings tend to have a lot of personality to them:

Fëanor looking accurately crazy.

[ZehnWaters]

Look what I found!!

Almost all artwork I see of Maedhros grieving for Fingon shows him grieving over a more or less complete/intact body of Fingon. But this... would not have been the case...

This may be the very first book accurate art I've ever seen on the subject.

Although I'm not sure how this piece of information was going to help our case.

Galadriel his sister went not with him to Nargothrond, for in Doriath dwelt Celeborn, kinsman of Thingol, and there was great love between them. Therefore she remained in the Hidden Kingdom, and abode with Melian, and of her learned great lore and wisdom concerning Middle-earth.

King Fingon and his lords

...None of the Eldar at that time dwelt in his father's lands, and once only had he seen them, when King Fingon and many of his lords had ridden through Dor-lomin and passed over the bridge of Nen Lalaith, glittering in silver and white... (J.R.R. Tolkien "The Children of Hurin")
