Trivia Thread!

A tiny chameleon discovered in northern Madagascar and measuring just 28.9 millimeters is believed to be the smallest reptile on Earth. The itty bitty chameleon was recently discovered and reported in the January 2021 issue of Scientific Reports.

The most distant point of land from any ocean is called the Eurasian Pole of Inaccessibility. Location 46deg 17' N 86 deg 40' E, in China's Xinjiang region near the border with Kazakhstan. This point is 2,645 km from the nearest coastline. I assume they're considering oceans, and not lakes or inland seas. Btw I missed this question on a bar trivia quiz, so naturally I looked it up. [In my defense, the question asked what country is it located in, and I guessed Kazakhstan, so I was pretty darn close.]

That kind of boggles the mind. I did read somewhere that the pyramids were considered ancient history to the Egyptians themselves.
Yeah only by around 500 years but still insane to me. I read that Egypt civilization was so old that even in “ancient Egypt” they had archaeologists there studying even older times to them. 🤯

Take the number 105263157894736842 then take the "2" from the right and put it at the front so you get 210526315789473684

Now that new number is twice the original number. This is the SMALLEST number for which that happens.

You've been holding out on your fellow mods, share the wealth
I dunno, EA -
as I recall, I've already tripled your Head Mod wage, doubled SeS' twice, and at least started giving Vorondil and Modtimo the standard since they hadn't even been put on the payroll yet - but I'll see what I can do.

You can use the kind you drink to sanitize, but not vice-versa.
(And my reply to your original post was a joke 😉)
Well, one of my friends actually drank a bit of sanitizer when he was 7, I believe. Thankfully, he stopped after he felt how bitter it was.
