Not really, I spent half an hour researching oranges when I should have been memorizing the formulas for Lift, Drag, Load Factor, and Stall Speed."Orange" you glad you learned all that? 😁

Are you getting your pilot's license? Not really, I spent half an hour researching oranges when I should have been memorizing the formulas for Lift, Drag, Load Factor, and Stall Speed.
Yup. At least that's the plan anyway. Are you getting your pilot's license?
What are you aiming for? Corporate pilot or regular [passenger/freight common carrier] airline pilot?Yup. At least that's the plan anyway.
I'm not really sure yet, at this point I know I don't want to be in a big airline company (flying Boeings and that sort of thing). So probably smaller cargo/freight transport I'd say. But there is also the option of flying for a game reserve somewhere, flying guests to lodges etc. But I'm only in the first week of groundschool, so I don't really know. What are you aiming for? That delay is what causes (in some folks including moi) motion sickness.Your brain doesn't experience reality in real time. Everything you perceive happened about 80 milliseconds ago. Your brain just stitches together predictions and sensory data to create the illusion of a continuous present. You're essentially living in a constantly-updating memory of the very recent past.
And when your brain isn't doing that properly... funny things happen.Your brain doesn't experience reality in real time. Everything you perceive happened about 80 milliseconds ago. Opposite thing happened to me after not sleeping for a day and a half because of a long flight, I could see myself touching stuff but not feel it. It was so weird. And when your brain isn't doing that properly... funny things happen.
Once when I was extremely sleep-deprived, my sense of touch and my sight were obviously out of sync: I could feel things with my fingers before my eyes saw me touch them. That was the moment I decided it was time to go to bed. 🙃
Good weight loss incentive... just hang that up in a Mickie D's or Panda Express...voila! no more appetite 😁
