Were elements of Gollum inspired by Renfield in Dracula 1931?

Now i have heard audiobooks "Some that JRR Tolkien did himself" and Gollum tends to sound very much like a limp froglike creature, like he is almost pathethic really with the vibe you get from Gollum.

But Gollum that is in Peter Jackson Lord of the Rings movies, sounds very alike to Renfield character in Dracula 1931 movie. What do you think?
