What are you watching?

I just watched The Ghost and the Darkness. It deviates a lot from the true story of the Man-Eaters of Tsavo, but it was still good. I highly recommend it to anyone wishing to have nightmares.

I recently watched the Christopher Nolan film Tenet: a kind of SF time travel James Bond type film. Hmm not the best.

There's a beautiful wife of Russian mafia bad guy played by Kenneth Branagh who has a son she dotes on. Nasty Branagh has arranged it so that if he dies the whole world goes with him because of something to do with entropy that not even a sonic screwdriver could solve. (Btw classic Doctor Who is so much better) And her reaction is "including my son"!!!

Fantastic locations and expensively shot like a Bond movie but sadly I kept watching to find out the predictable ending. Kenneth Branagh selling his RSC heritage for a mess of potage! Was watching this a waste of my time?

Cassandra on Netflix, not bad so far and has English dubbing for my fellow English speakers.

So excited to be enjoying Wheel of Time again. Season 3 is dropping week by week, dropped E5 this past Friday 3/28 is US. E 4 was riveting, confusing, anxiety-producing -- strange. There was a talk back following the episode with the two actors who play Morianne and Rand. Interesting, elucidating. I rewatched the first 2 seasons to refresh my memory, and that was helpful. S2 I had found a little dizzying with the number of characters and plots introduced in one season. But good.

This is 'old news' by now, but I also watched S1 of Fallout, can't wait for S2.

The Last of Us is returning soon (this month, I think?) with S2. The trailer for it - I think generously long for a trailer - looks terrific. I'm excited.

Also month anticipating Your Friends and Neighbors premiering on Apple+ April 11. Jon Hamm, Amanda Peet, an impressive cast and an intriguing story line.

Went back to re-watch the first 3 seasons of Only Murders in the Building on Hulu in preparation for watching S4, which I really enjoyed. Interesting to me to find that Martin Short and Meryl Streep are actually dating. I think a fun, cute couple.

I haven't been on this forum for quite some time (out for some fairly serious surgeries), but trying to be here more frequently.

So a friend of mine started raving about the TV show '1923' which was described to me as a 'western-meets-technology' drama, so I started watching season 1. Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren are awesome! Found out there was a prequel called 1883, so I took a break while episodes of season 2 of 1923 dropped and watched it. Sam Elliot, Faith Hill, and Billy Bob Thornton were in it! It was a really good western! I then watched the 2nd season of 1923. The last episode had me bawling. Now I hear these shows were prequels to a long-running show called 'Yellowstone' with Kevin Costner! And also, an 1883 side story called '1883: The Bass Reeves Story' is out, and I have it on my watch list. And now I hear there is another series coming called '1944'. I got into a lot of TV from that one recommendation!

Started the new season of Black Mirror. It’s one of my favorite shows and this one’s good so far

I watched the first three episodes of the second season of Andor (a Star Wars TV series). I won't be watching anymore. The first season was dull as ditchwater, and the new season is no better. They describe it as a 'spy-thriller', unfortunately the directors seem to have forgotten to include any espionage, or anything even remotely thrilling.
