What does Gimili say to Haldir in the Fellowship

I've only watched the Extended Edition of that one once (though I own it. . .my family didn't get a DVD player until recently) so it probably just slipped by me without me noticing.

I had to think for a moment so that I could remember where I had seen that scene. I need to watch the movies again...

All of the characters did, as they all reacted to it. It was just meant so that the audience wouldn't understand.
It is beyond me how anyone save Gimli, let alone some others or all of them, might have known the meaning of his words. Khuzdul, the Dwarvish language, was a thing of utmost secrecy. I guess Master Jackson chose to ignore that. :D The only one I could allow for understanding that phrase might be Aragorn, though even that is highly doubtful.

Still... we can't be surprised that PJ made people in the movie know. He makes many people know all kinds of things that you would not imagine them to know. How was Gimli supposed to know what was past the Emyn Muil?
Good point. And he knew what Mordor looks like in detail! Interesting! ;)
