Ent has an Andúril letter opener set on blue velvet in a wooden box with glass lid. (Somewhere in storage at the moment, sadly.)
Also big feet for Orc-stomping... and perhaps a sufficient memory of Middle-Entish to talk most folks to death.

All home-made I have:

Sting, Anduril, Nazgul sword, Shards of Narsil (although does it really count because the Anduril can transform from the Shards of Narsil and back again) Glamdring, Orcrist, Anglachel, Gurthang, and Legolas' bow.

Methods vary. I've used posterboard, clay, tent poles, foam, hard sheet metal, etc. etc....

LOTR Sting, Glamdring, Anduril, Narsil, Herugrim, Guthwine, Eowyn's Sword, Boromir's sword, Hadhafang (movie sword), Strider's [movie] sword, Legolas' White Knives (note plural), Gimli's Walking Axe. On order is Faramir's sword.
(All of them UC wallhangers)
And the extremely rare Deathless (movie sword, Noble Collection) which was Thorin's sword prior to acquiring Orcrist.

Definitely, if he's making a Roman lorica hamata. There's a theory that the segmentata version was widely adopted because of the urgent need to replace the three legions destroyed at the battle of Teutoburger Wald in 9 AD. Easier and faster to make than mail, but it must have been uncomfortable to wear, and in need of constant repair. A lot of segments have been found. Despite Hollywood, it didn't last very long, except perhaps as a prestige item.
