Camille,
I am sorry to inform you that the story of Rohan is told in Appendix A of The Lord Of The Rings.

[ssgrif]

anybody know if its also covreed the the HoME at all?

I've not read the 12 volume set just yet so I cant comment.

A large part of HoME 12 is the writing of the appendices, so there's some Eorl info in there. Better by far is the chapter in UT, 'Of Cirion and Eorl'.

[Eonwe]

Cirion and Eorl is GREAT! as is the appendix specifically regarding Helm Hammerhand!!

[Camille]

Thank you guys!! I must find a copy with the appendices!!!!

yes that is great that story.

I agree, I just recently bought the UT, and the chapter, among others, is excellent.

Yes, Unfinished Tales has 'The Tale of Cirion and Eorl' in it, it is quite the tale!!!

[Halasían]

The Tale of Cirion & Eorl in Unfinished Tales is good!
I recommend a reading by all who are interested in Rohan and the people.

Don’t know if you’re still around.

Try googling LOTR Appendices or LOTR Appendix A. A PDF should come up in the search, which you can download and print.

I do like that chapter in Unfinished Tales!

So do I -- except this part:

Here the text ends, with a note that a description of the Battle of the Field of Celebrant was to follow.

😥😢😭
That aside, it's great. The scene on the Hill of Awe, especially, left me in, well, awe.
