which do you like better, the fellowship or the two towers?

You know, I used to think I liked FOTR way better. But now I like them equally well. This is mainly because, for me, "it's all one story." And while I like the continuity and "linear" nature of LOTR and our introduction to the Shire and hobbits, the film TTT for me has its own very special charm, partly because of the increased action, but also because the story has moved on. There are new characters and places to see, and there's increased momentum and intensity because we're at "the turn of the tide." Also, unlike many people, I actually enjoyed the way TTT was edited, in what seems to me almost a mosaic-like style of storytelling.

Thats a hard question to answer but I think I would say The Fellowship of The Ring.

I just found it way more gripping I was on the edge of my seat thoughout the film, I just found The Two Towers didn't have the same effect perhaps because I was reading the book at the time and loved it so much. Not to say I didn't like The Two Towers it had some brilliant scenes I was just disappointed. But the more I see The Two Towers the more I like it.
