The First Age was also referred to as the Elder Days. It spanned from the Awakening of the Elves, the Elder Children of Ilúvatar, during the Years of the Trees to the day when Men were awakened in Hildórien untill the final overthrow of Morgoth. There were many notable events that happened in the year FA 587.
