Biography
Lithariel, the Queen of The Shore's adopted daughter, is a character in Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. She was adopted by Lady Marwen when she was an infant. She was taken under Marwen's control when the trading ship she traveled was destroyed by the Tribesmen during one of their raids. Growing up among the Tribesmen, she became a proficient and formidable warrior who never surrendered to enemies under pressure. She commanded the Tribesmen of Núrn against the Uruks of Sauron when they began to infringe the lands of Núrn. In the meantime, Sauron amassed enormous power while Saruman gained a great deal of control over Queen Marwen. Lithariel was unaware of these happenings. Lithariel helped Talion on his quests when he reached Nurn to defeat the Black Hand and launch an attack on Sauron. This was indirectly initiated by Saruman through Marwen. The ultimate goal of Saruman was to pursue Celebrimbor's wraith. During their quests, Talion grew closer to Lithariel. He felt Lithariel resembled his deceased wife Loreth in character.
But he decided not to hurt Lithariel any further and focused solely on his mission. He was more interested in taking revenge on his son and wife's murderers. Talion once freed Lithariel from the clutches of the aggressive Uruks before her being executed. When Talion approached Marwen one last time, Saruman tried his best to seize Celebrimbor from Talion and used it to his benefit. [1] After Talion realized Saruman's plan, he approached Lithariel. He, along with Lithariel, eradicated Saruman's control on Marwen's staffers. Thus, they double-crossed Saruman's plans and released Marwen from his clutches. After being liberated from Saruman, Marwen conveyed the location of Sauron's tower to Talion. With the aid of the Tribesmen, the ranger traveled across the Sea of Núrnen to combat Sauron. Though Talion succeeded in his quest, his actions allowed the Black Hand to raid Núrn. After the ranger's arrival, Marwen's control on Nurn was wrecked. Although there were no remnants from the raids on the Queen and her adopted daughter, they were presumed dead along with many other tribesmen.
