Half in Manwë's defense, I'll just say this:

Morgoth is technically not counted amongst the Valar - unless you get into the complex language trajectories of it and claim that he is a "fallen Vala" (which he is) - which then raises the ultimate question of whether Morgoth should actually be counted amongst the Valar or not. Because to claim him as a "fallen Vala" is still to use the term itself, and thus name him amongst the Valar in some way or another....

And so on that note, I'll go against Manwë once more and shove the truth in his face:

You didn't even interfere that effectively in our own realm of Valinor either with the whole Silmaril complex; no wonder y'all decided to not intervene in the Outer Lands! At least my prophecies accounted for something whilst the rest of you just sat back and watched!​
