This meme is hilarious in a way it didn't intend to be, because all three of these other questions have been subjects of debate.

1. There's a lot of discussion about whether Balrogs actually had wings or if they were metaphorical shadow-like things.

2. Luthien and Huan were arguably more useful than Beren.

3. Even the actual shape of Elves' ears is up for debate, since all we're really told is that they're leaf-like.
