Hi! I am new here so I'm sorry if I get to mess up and such, but going to the point; what would be some translations of the name Daniel in elvish, or in any other language really? All I've found is the sindarin translation😅

Hm. Daniel means "God is my Judge" which is a bit more complicated than most Elvish names. Sindarin IS an Elvish language, did you want it in Quenya?

Quenya or any other language in general (whatever's easier to translate, not strictly elvish), otherwise a name that sounds somewhat similar would be fine anyways! Thanks a lot

Tolkien Elven languages are not one singular one but many, some more developed than the others. Quenya is the language of the Noldor and Valinorian elves and Sindarin is the language of Sindar elves. Do you want this for a fanfiction? Or perhaps a tattoo?

I was curious, and was considering using the translated name to change an user as well. This said I know Sindarin is one of the elvish languages, I simply excluded it because I already saw the translation in that language
