Here are some very private drawings from my Tolkien notebook I keep by my side when reading. The first image is another rendition of Fingolfin and Ringil, the second is Hurin shortly after stealing a Silmaril from Morgoth's crown, and the last is a drawing of sting featuring a very scared and distressed goblin.

AI is changing the landscape of art. I think this will motivate artists to compete on the human level by making themselves part of the art's story. And that story will integrate with the ways that natural people are networking and sharing on social media. People want to connect with other people, not bots, not AI.

My wife is an artist: https://www.behance.net/grega208?locale=en_US

And here is the most recent picture of me, which is a fair representation of what I look like on a typical day just chilling at home, sort of contemplative if not generally worried about ways to keep most of the world out of my world.

I was sharing with my wife this week that I've been posting some AI images on Tolkien forum, and that I think JRR Tolkien probably would not have liked to see AI images on his forum. Tolkien was so resistant to technology he barely got comfortable with his wife using a typewriter!

Tell us your story with your art. What would you do for a day in Tom's magical boots? What motivates you? What are you feeling? Don't answer all those questions, just the ones that fit with the art you're sharing today.

Yes usually when i draw i use ink pens of ballpoint pens (bic round stic) But I also use colored pencils and markers quite often.
*Or ballpoint pens

Let me start off by saying your wife's artwork is really amazing! How big is the piece in the link you sent? I developed an early appreciation for pencil and ballpoint pen artwork from my uncle and cousins who would write me from prison when I was a child. The amount of skill it takes to achieve such delicate shading is something to be proud of.

Hmm, if I had to answer any of those questions I would answer the first one about having Tom's big yellow boots for the day.

In my imagination, if one were to put on the giant yellow boots of Tom Bombadil one would be granted his agility and ability to jump magnificently.
(I'm basing this off of chapter 8 of The Fellowship when they say they should be leaping as lusty as Tom over the hills toward the mountains.)

So, if I were to be granted his boots for the day I think I would spend my time jumping as high as I can on tree tops and mountains exploring all there is to explore in the secrets of Middle Earth and have a blast doing it!
