Ents do not have to worry about such frivolity and trifles.
All too true, Ent fears.
Ents ponder, and as days pass to years, years to decades, decades to centuries, and centuries to
ages, that which is important does alter in its condition within time.
Hewmans, having so little time, rarely get beyond 'the immediate' commanding a great deal of their attention and being. Thus, whether there is sufficient red, or blue, or green, or orange in a painting becomes paramount, deserving massive investment of the hewmans-self and consumption of its resources.
Oh, to see beyond the issue and impact of the immediate.
Ent offers a solution: Ponder.
To
ponder means to think
deeply,
carefully, and
thoroughly about a subject, "weighing"* different options, consequences, or possibilities in your mind
before arriving at a conclusion.**
*To "weigh" In a cognitive or decision-making context, is the analytical process of evaluating, balancing, and assigning relative value to competing information, options, or arguments. It applies critical thinking and frameworks to synthesize possibilities,
stripping away bias** to yield a balanced, objective perspective.
**note: the hewman's single greatest problem is comprised of the inability to both recognize, then strip away, bias, coupled with the inability to do anything before drawing a conclusion.
