I've asked myself this question many times, but can't come up with any real answer! IMO, FOTR is an extremely well crafted film. Reading PJ's explanations on why so many changes were made in TTT leaves me even more confused. He had to add more drama? He had no problem developing real drama...

Did you guys think that the FOTR book was better than the movie? I did. When you read a book, there doesnt have to be alot of action to keep the readers attention. In a movie...There does (at least thats the way I see it)

I dont know about you guys but I thought FOTR got a little slow after the first thirty minutes, and I have heard alot of others who feel the same as well. Just wandering what you guys thought of the movie as a whole.

Yesterday night I was lucky enough to view one of the sessions of Double LotR ( FotR and TTT one after the other with a ten minute interval in between ) in the movies. This gave me the opportunity to see whether or not the films flow into each other well, or if TTT was introduced well enough...
