About Dagor Dagorath, and Turin's involvement in it.

The description involving Turambar is relatively brief. The latest version (The War of the Jewels) reads:

"In that day Tulkas shall strive with Morgoth, and on his right hand shall be Eonwe, and on his left Túrin Turambar, son of Húrin, returning from the Doom of Men at the ending of the World; and the black sword of Túrin shall deal unto Morgoth his death and final end; and so shall the children of Húrin and all Men be avenged."

And however one interprets that. . .

. . . even if the Dagor Dagorath wasn't abandoned by JRRT, or to say it another way, even if
this description was to survive into Tolkien's "final" legendarium, the text in which it occurs
was re-characterized by the author himself as a Mannish Myth.
