This was one of the funniest and cutest writings I've ever seen! Every second of reading it had me grinning stupid.

Can I just say how I loved every little detail you added? The animal name(not one being in Quenya but like Blue Wind) you gave seeker, the way it listened to Tyelko like all his pets do in your chaotic RPs, everything was so on point for me.

I wish I could say more but my head is fuzzy with sleep and happiness.😅

Aww, thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I look forward to more thoughts from you if you have them later! (And the drawing too because I spent like 14 hours on it and fought it tooth and nail. Timo did not wanna be drawn.)

Also, I was initially going to do just the drawing, but it was begging to be written!

And I have a favorite line in the story. I'm curious if anyone will be able to identify it.

This was so hilarious and delightful, Maitimo!!! I loved every detail, and it goes with the drawing and your guys’ dynamic so perfectly.

Tyelko’s exasperation over Maitimo’s “rude” interactions with Seeker and the scolding that followed were so funny and on point for him, and for him to insist it was Seeker’s birthday solely based on the fact the coon was eating cake and wearing a party hat seemed like something he would definitely do. Ah, the fun (and chaos) of being an animal whisperer! 😂

I also love the part where it mentions how no matter how busy Maitimo is, he always takes the time to make sure his brothers feel special on their birthdays, after Fëanáro and Nerdanel dropped the ball twice one year. He’s such a good big brother (even with a sleep deficit)! Of course Tyelko had to pull that card (plus a little blackmail 😉) to finally convince Maitimo to throw a party for the raccoon.

You did a great job with capturing a raccoon’s behavior and personality, from stopping in the middle of eating his cake to hiss at Maitimo’s “insult,” to getting into everything and being a little force of chaos, to adoring his shiny gifts and more. Maitimo was indeed correct in his assessment of Seeker being a wild animal, just as he was also correct in comparing the raccoon to Tyelko. 😂

The ending was so sweet too, with Seeker’s gratefulness for the party and apology for the shenanigans, the raccoon hugs, and then how Maitimo and Tyelko connect. Tyelkoraccoon forever! 🦝

This was my favorite line too! I cracked up at the mental image of it, as well as for the moment when Seeker is climbing up on Timo for the plates of food. 🤣

Happy Birthday, @Glorfindel Goldtress ! To repeat what Madhelko said, I'm so glad to be one of your adopted introverts! Thanks for being a kind and encouraging friend-- and a Harbinger of Chaos! Some of the things you've said in the past to encourage me have really stuck with me, and you're like that with everyone you meet.

I hope you enjoy this little story, which will be continued at some point in the future. I really enjoyed writing it and it makes me want to include Glorfindel in more of my fanfics in the future! For this story, I went with the headcanon that Glorfindel is a son of Findis, mainly because, welll... it helps the story make more sense if Glorfindel and Maitimo actually are cousins, lol! The basic concept of the story was inspired by the Snow-Elf drawing, in which I realized Maitimo and Glorfindel had nearly identical facial features. (Makes sense given that they're both my Elf crushes.) I knew some shenanigans would have to take place there! I also realized the shenanigans would take a lot more time to write than what I currently had, and I wanted to do it justice, hence the to-be-continued.

Aieeeeeee!!!! *Cue excited screaming and squealing, suppressed, of course, as I am not in my room.* I loved this so much!!! You brought it to life. Amazing how one convo turns into something like this. The instant you stoked even a hint of what was to happen, I was shout-thinking, "Parent Trap! Parent Trap! Parent Trap! But with cousins!" Makes so much sense in this version for us to be cousins. I simply loved everything about this!!! I thought it was so cool to bring Vána into this. I was not anticipating such at all, but it makes so much sense to be besties! Plus, with the one lore reference many like to mention how Vána commented on the fairness of Glorfindel, you kind of used it in the story for both, clever!

The story was just perfection. I am extremely excited to see what comes in the future of this Elf swap. 👀

Yep!! Maitimo gets a relaxing time to chill with Asfaloth, and Glorfy gets a little adventure in babysitting all the Fëanorians for a day. 😂 (Knowing him, he'll enjoy it!)

I thought it was so cool to bring Vána into this. I was not anticipating such at all, but it makes so much sense to be besties! Plus, with the one lore reference many like to mention how Vána commented on the fairness of Glorfindel, you kind of used it in the story for both, clever!

Hehe, yeah, I was totally thinking of that Mean Girls meme with the quotes about how Glorfindel is Flawless, and his hair is full of secrets, he's done commercials in Gondolin, and even Vána told him he was pretty. 😂 (I felt Vána would say the same thing to Maitimo. Especially since in my headcanon, they're nearly identical. 👀😂)

Unlike Regina George though, Glorfindel is actually nice! 😂

Meme aside, I was trying to think which of the Valar would Glorfy most likely be friends with, and Vána seemed the best fit... golden flowers, literally! I thought her domain was most appropriate for changing an Elf's hair color, too.

Normally I post the story thread first, but I actually want you to read the discussion first, @Tyelkormo the Fair !

So this story is a bit of a roller coaster from heavy and somber to light and silly and back, but I figured you would be down for that! And in general I think it is an uplifting story overall, even if it has its sad parts. I'm super excited to share it with you!

Also, Lord Snottington has a name now. Believe it or not, it is actually Sindarin (You'll understand this joke in a few minutes).

Dude, where do I even start?!

I loved all the moments of Dadtimo and Goths
Son! Especially from the start with the two of them sitting solemnly and just being sad bcs it's just soooo Timo and Lómion!

And of course, the nod towards my own lack of enthusiasm towards parties was very appreciated. I understand you, Lómion!

I love how Maitimo shares his own hardships with Lómion. Recognizing him as someone who was also forced to understand more than his age (even though he's basically his son now) was probably what made Lómion so attached to him. He doesn't like being undermined.

And of course, the pistachio headcanon! 😂
Or should I say...canon? 👀



The meeting with Lord Snottington (or Pasta) was hilarious! (Just as his name is)
Love seeing Sarcastimo in action! And reading your description, your comic art of Jim was just a constant image in my mind!

And I know we haven't really gotten to the point where Lómion can interact with Timo when he's not injured or at the verge of death, but this characterization of him was spot on! Can't wait to go back on and resuming that story!

Again, loved the lil nod towards our own dynamics! Maitimo must have put a lot of work on them. With just one hand, as Lómion said. 🥺
Dadtimo is the best Timo. And dad.

The eyeliner was (before I read the title of course) unexpected but very much appreciated! Lómion would ROCK an eyeliner! And so would Kano and Curvo. And they can all judge Tyelko for his blush pink make up! 😂


The planting of the sapling was such a great way to end this. Just as the tree is starting a new life, so is Lómion. Life might be harsh in his yet cold, winter looking world, but spring will come and things would get better.
Don't know if you were aware, but weeping willow is actually my favorite tree.

The little cameo of Íri made me go 🥺 instantly. She's the best Mom ever, and Lómion is on the right to miss her. But Íri wishes him to live a life without the shadow of her death, so that's what he and Timo both are supposed to do. 🥹

The ending was pure sweetness. Lómion loves his Ada, embarrassing as he is. 🥺
