Fourth Age Shadow

"The Peoples of Middle-earth" is Vol XII of "The History of Middle-earth" series and it contains a fragment of a story called "The New Shadow" which begins 105 years after the destruction of the ring. Tolkien evidently begun writing it in the 1950s, but soon abandoned it again. It seems he took least two more attempts lateron, but lost his interest in it again after a short while...

To anyone who has the book "Peoples of Middle Earth". I have not read it, but I understand it has some writings regarding the appearance of another Shadow in the Fourth Age. Can anyone tell me what that is all about?

tolkien only wrote a few pages on this topic, he didn't even finish the first chapter.
i have read it and it takes place in the reign of aragorn's (king elessar) son.
it ends quite abrupt and it doesn't really reveal what the new shadow is.
we only hear of a certain dark cult and the youth their interest in it.
i think the cult is somewhere in the east.
