Pulchritudinous. ☺️

It is beautiful, but it refers to describing someone with a particularly elegant, gracefully breathtaking beauty/fairness. I don't follow connotations.

It's a nagging thought (because I'm certain the root of the word is Latin) but somehow it has something do with light , like glowing or shining.
(Altho the Latin word for light per se is lux , as in "Fiat Lux" ..."Let there be Light".)

It does have to do with light, yes. But it is not glowing or shining. Still, close you are, yes!
