How did Frodo look like in the books?

I based Frodo on some depictions already made in fiction in movies or games. Exceptions when looking up final details online. Such as bright eyes and such.

There's a new book coming soon with a section titled Descriptions of Characters, which I'm guessing is Tolkien reacting to an illustration of the Fellowship by Pauline Baynes -- as we've had some bits of these descriptions published already.

Who knows what's in there, even if so . . . but tantalizing for now!
