Sometimes when I get bored in class I just start reciting the Lay of Leithian in my head and hope that the teacher doesn't ask me anything. Oherwise I might accedentally answer

'Thou base,
thou cringing worm! Stand up,

And that might be a bit difficult to explain to the principal.
