No surprise there.
Exposure to sunlight via the eyes (Warning, DANGER Will Robinson DANGER...DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN) that is, just "seeing" daylight stimulates the release of Serotonin "the happiness hormone" in the brain, causing a natural high (which is the best kind of high. 😄)

Dead certain that "hand" detail is from Michelangelo's "David". (He's holding a stone in it, the stone which he will [eventually] put in his sling, hurling it and knocking Goliath dead. The sling is in his left hand, draped over his shoulder.)
If you are marveling at the incredible details of veins and tendons (as anyone should be), know that Michelangelo would dissect cadavers to study the anatomy of the human body. That is why his sculptures look so life-like.
