I actually sung it ** to the G&S music (altho' to be accurate, Sullivan always wrote the music; Gilbert, the lyrics).
The last stanza is an incredibly close imitation of the original lyrics.
All three stanzas fit the original meter perfectly... Well done! 👏 (whoever wrote it)
