Real conversation I had with a sales person in a small store next to a comic convention (I was attending the comic convention).

(for context, I'm cosplaying Legolas).

Me: Hi, do you have any superglue?

Store person: Yes, we have superglue for paper, wood, and ceramic. What do you need it for?

Me: Well, I was going to glue the edges of my ears together to make them pointy like an elf's.

Store person:....

Store person: Um...

Store person: Are you sure???

Me: Yeah, it works. I've done it before.

Store person: But is using superglue on your ears safe?

Me: Oh yeah, it always comes off. eventually.

Store person:...

Me: So can I get some glue please?

Store person: Right... Cash or credit payment?
