It's the same reenactment I've gone to in prior years.

Oh, and on the topic of jokes and memes, this is a funny moment I witnessed at a different reenactment last month:

I was walking along, minding my own business, when a group of Union soldiers marched past me in their militaristic impressiveness. Then they broke out in song:

"WHOOOOOOOO"







"LIVES IN A PINEAPPLE UNDER THE SEA?"

(I started cracking up, and a guy towards the back of the group turned to me and said, "I don't know what they're on about! TV hasn't been invented yet!)
